Construction Assurance

Construction assurance and system validation is a time-consuming, complicated process with a high-risk associated with the final construction stages and progressively introducing rolling stock to the electrified network.

T-RIS have led data analysis, developed a compliance matrix and compiling the technical submission required by independent Designated Body (DeBo) and Notified Body (NoBo) organisations, helping multiple electrification projects to achieve authorisation by proving conformance to the National Technical Specification Notices NTSNs or the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSIs).

Our experience in delivering for a wide variety of projects and fulfilling different roles across Europe and Australia means that we are well positioned to support your project, wherever you are located.

‘Right first time’

Our technical experience in the field and data insights have been key links to analysing data and generating the construction assurance and system validation reports, managing to gain an unprecedented clean authorisation with no conditions for the 40km / 192STK of newly electrified network on MMLE (April 2021).

Digital Image Correlation (DIC)

DIC is a state of the art technology that helps identify dynamic pantograph uplift within any OLE system without direct site access and can be flexibly deployed in any available location. Dynamic pantograph uplift measurement is an NTSN (TSI) requirement for any new infrastructure to achieve authorisation. T-RIS can measure dynamic uplifts on an ad-hoc basis covering all the required location to satisfy standard requirements.
