Below are some example from recent projects investigating the feasibility of line speed increase in existing Legacy system installed in the UK in part of the Midland Mainline (MML) and East Coast Mainline (ECML) infrastructure. Those assessments pave the way for targeted improvements in specific infrastructure locations and features that will enable minimal investment to achieve improved dynamic interface performance at speeds >125mph. As part of the D-RSS investigation a thorough OLE StAT analysis based on NMT train bourne wire profilometry data is performed and correlated to the direct impact to the interface performance.
